The interactive map above highlights acquisitions, openings, and closures across the hardware, home center, lumberyard, and building supply industries.

Regularly updated, the News Map draws from press releases, external media coverage, and original reporting to provide the latest industry insights.

Among the latest moves is a planned acquisition of Dale Hardware in Fremont, Calif., by Westlake Ace. And in North Carolina, Kodiak Building Partners acquired New River Building Supply & Lumber Co. in Boone, and Banner Elk.

The map also includes Builders FirstSource's acquisition of Reno, Nevada-based Truckee Tahoe Lumber. The local leadership of multi-unit TTL will remain in place, BFS said.
