New Texas store for McCoy’s

McCoy’s Building Supply opened a store in Lockhart, Texas. The company will celebrate the event with a board-cutting ceremony, giveaways and other festivities on July 11.

The store, located at 1600 S. Colorado St. opened on June 10, 2024, and brings the San Marcos, Texas-based company's store count to 87. The new store features 15,000 square feet of inside retail space and a paved, drive-thru lumberyard.

It’s exciting to open a store here and be part of the intentional and thoughtful growth of this special community.”

The Lockhart store is managed by Zach Dauer who joined McCoy’s four years ago. Most recently, he was store manager of McCoy’s Duncan, OK location. “Customers can expect our team to provide exceptional customer service that is helpful, friendly, and timely, to assist them with all their project needs,” said Dauer.

The Lockhart McCoy’s is open Monday through Friday from 7am to 7pm and Saturday from 7am to 5pm. It’s always closed on Sundays. The store carries high-quality building materials for a wide range of projects as well as home maintenance supplies, available in-store and online with ship-to-store and delivery options. 

The store and its property feature several landscaping elements particular to south central Texas. The location is home to six large Live Oak trees with 34 additional trees that were planted during construction. A rainwater collection system was also installed on the property which ties into the irrigation system and is designed to mitigate up to 200,000 gallons of water use annually.
