Wanted: Top Women nominations
The tradition continues at Hardware & Building Supply Dealer. Against a backdrop of an historically male industry, women are making inroads.
HBSDealer supports and encourages the growing numbers women in the ranks. And not only for reasons of fairness and justice — because it’s good for business to tap the talented and much-needed pool of workers and leaders.
That brings us to the Top Women in Hardware and building Supply awards program. We’re looking for nominations from across the industry — including from independents and family businesses.
If you know a candidate who deserves to be recognized for her service and dedication to the industry, tell us. Here is the nomination form. Deadline for nominations is June 15.
The 2024 Top Women in Hardware & Building Supply Awards program recognizes leadership in two categories:
• Rising Stars: This award recognizes a talented professional with the potential to make a significant positive difference within her company and within the industry for years to come.
• Business Excellence: This award recognizes a leader who has demonstrated achievement, growth and success in the hardware and home improvement industry; embraced education and community service, and inspired others to follow a similar path.
Top Women in Hardware & Building Supply event will remain in Chicago for 2024, but will move to a new downtown location at the Marriott Marquis Chicago Nov. 20-21.
"Our team continues to be grateful for the incredible support that retailers and suppliers have shown for this program,” said Amy Grant, associate publisher of HBSDealer. “And it’s not only for the two days we gather together in Chicago. This is a year-round effort for us to support the mission of gender equality in our industry.”
