Westlake Ace Hardware has signed a lease agreement to open a new store in Simi Valley, a northern suburb of Los Angeles.
The company said it plans to open the store in Simi Valley at the former site of Cost-Plus World Market.
Renovations to the space will begin summer 2023, the company said, with an anticipated soft opening during fall 2023. The store will feature approximately 16,000 square feet of retail space.
Westlake Ace currently owns and operates five other locations in southern California, with plans to open a sixth location in Porter Ranch in early summer 2023.
“We are excited to show our new customers in Simi Valley how we live the Ace Helpful Promise every day through reliable service, helpful advice, and the products they need to get their projects done right,” said Joe Jeffries, president and CEO of Westlake Ace Hardware.
Branded as Ace Hardware of Simi Valley, the company said the store, “will sell lawn and garden supplies, fasteners, tools, plumbing, and electrical supplies.”
The store will also feature several specialty departments and store-within-a-store concepts, said the firm.
“We are thrilled to be joining this community as a friend, a trusted neighbor, and an employer,” said Jeffries.
