“The greater Wichita area continues to grow and thrive. It’s an honor to be a long-standing employer, retailer, and neighbor in the community,” said Joe Jeffries, president and CEO.
Westlake Ace Hardware announced it has signed an agreement to open a new store in Wichita, Kansas, the company’s eighth in the Wichita area.
“Our new store will help us reach more customers and create more employment opportunities,” said Joe Jeffries, president and CEO of Ace Retail Holdings, the parent company of Westlake Ace Hardware.
“It will also deepen our relationships within the Wichita area and allow us to further showcase how we live the Ace Helpful Promise daily through reliable service, helpful advice, and the products people need to get their projects done right,” said Jeffries.
The 18,200 square foot store will feature more than 14,000 square feet of retail space, said the firm.
The new store will feature several specialty departments and store-within-a-store concepts, selling such brands as: Benjamin Moore, Stihl, Ego, DeWalt, Craftsman and more.
Remodeling to the space, which previously housed Tuesday Morning, will begin in early 2024. A soft opening is tentatively planned for summer 2024.
Headquartered in the Kansas City area, 118-year-old Westlake Ace Hardware currently owns and operates more than 155 stores in 12 states.
