Westlake Ace to open in San Jose

Westlake Ace Hardware has signed a lease agreement to open a new store in San Jose, California, with a soft opening tentatively planned for the third quarter of 2024.

“San Jose is thriving and rapidly growing. We can’t wait to join this fantastic community,” said Joe Jeffries, president and CEO of Ace Retail Holdings, the parent company of Westlake Ace Hardware.

The CEO said Westlake Ace will, “show our new customers and neighbors how we live the Ace Helpful Promise daily through reliable service, helpful advice, and the products they need to get their projects done right.”

Ace Hardware of San Jose will be located in the Sunrise Plaza shopping area and will feature approximately 19,000 square feet of retail space.

In addition to offering key cutting and automotive key fob replacement, Westlake said the store will sell lawn and garden supplies, fasteners, tools, plumbing and electrical supplies. Also, the new store will feature several specialty departments and store-within-a-store concepts.

Westlake Ace Hardware locations in northern California: Chico, Fresno, Livermore, Mountain View, Pinole, Pleasant Hill, Santa Rosa (Guerneville Fulton Ace Hardware), Turlock and Woodland.
