The new Westlake Ace Hardware in Jenks, Oklahoma, just south of Tulsa, hosted a grand opening on November 30.
At grand opening events the community came out and met Sandy Avalos, the new store’s general manager.
“General Manager Sandy Avalos has a passion for providing legendary customer service,” said the company.
“She joined Westlake Ace Hardware in 2019 and has held various roles including floor supervisor, key account specialist, and most recently assistant manager. In her spare time, she enjoys Oklahoma Sooner football and spending time with family and friends,” said the firm.
The new 13,000 square foot store sells lawn and garden supplies, fasteners, tools, plumbing, and electrical supplies, and offers services such as automotive key cutting and fob replacement and propane tank exchange.
The store features several specialty departments and store-within-a-store concepts, selling many popular brands.
The grand opening celebration through Dec. 3 included grill and outdoor power equipment demonstrations, free prize drawings, a balloon artist and other free kids’ activities, and a kettle corn food truck.
“We are thrilled to officially join the Jenks community as a neighbor, an employer and a trusted friend,” said Avalos.
With the opening of the new store, Westlake Ace Hardware now owns and operates 15 locations in Oklahoma.
