    The makers of a leading exterior moss, mold, mildew and algae stain remover are rolling out a low-maintenance shower cleaner called Wet and Forget Shower.

    The product slogan is: “Spray weekly. Scrub never.” And it expands the company's easy-to-use brand messaging. 

  • Ferguson acquires HVAC company

    Newport News, Va.-based Ferguson Enterprises has purchased the assets of SG Supply Co., a Calumet Park, Ill.supplier of plumbing products, water heaters, hydronic heating, and pipe, valves and fittings for plumbing and mechanical contractors. The purchase price of the transaction, reported by Industrial Distribution, was not disclosed.

  • California Faucets hires national sales manager

    California Faucets has hired Steven Weinberg, the former president of the Decorative Plumbing & Hardware Association (DPHA), as its new national sales manager. Weinberg will be based on the East Coast, giving the Southern California-based company a bi-coastal presence, the announcement said.

    Weinberg served as the president of DPHA since 2010. Prior to that, he owned The Glassmith Shop in Summit, N.J., a high-end decorative plumbing and hardware showroom and one of the earliest innovators of frameless shower enclosures.

  • New president for Delta, Brizo and Peerless

    Indianapolis-based Delta Faucet Co., a division of Masco Corp., promoted VP sales Richard O'Reagan to the post of company president.

    He replaces Keith Allman, who was promoted to group president for Masco.

    O'Reagan will be responsible for leading the development of new products and overseeing manufacturing and marketing for the Delta, Brizo and Peerless brands. In a press release, he said he intended to build on the company's strong brands, innovations and service, while also promoting advances in water efficiency.

  • Suspect uses PVC pipe to steal copper

    A man in Linden, N.J. was arrested July 9 for allegedly stealing copper pipes from a Home Depot sore by stuffing them in PVC piping, according to an article in the Verona-Cedar Grove Times.
