L&W Supply has promoted Mark Woodsum to vice president of its newly created North Central Region.

Woodsum joined the L&W Supply team in 2015 as a sourcing manager. Since then, Woodsum has served in several roles, including branch manager of the Roselle, Illinois, location; national metal merchandising manager; Upper Midwest District manager; and regional business manager.

According to L&W Supply, regional vice presidents play a vital leadership role at the building products distributor, “helping the company’s branches continuously refine and expand their service and support of customers.”

As North Central Region vice president, Woodsum will be responsible for leading the region, “optimizing processes and reinforcing L&W Supply’s commitment to customer and vendor relationships,” the Chicago-based company said.

“Mark has consistently delivered great results in every role he has held, and he has a solid record of recruiting and developing talent,” said L&W Supply President Dan Piché. “We are confident that he’ll lead our new North Central Region team to success by providing unmatched service to customers in 2024 and beyond.”

L&W Supply told HBSDealer that the company's new North Central Region consists of 12 states, including: North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, and Missouri.

L&W Supply is one of the largest distributors of wallboard, suspended ceiling systems, steel studs, joint treatment, insulation, fasteners, and related building products.

The company operates more than 250 branches in 42 states and is a subsidiary of ABC Supply with over 950 locations in the United States and Canada.
