Building products distributor L&W Supply announced that it has promoted associates to the position of branch manager.

The Chicago-based company said its branch managers are responsible for managing daily branch operations, cultivating customer relationships, guiding associates, and growing the business.

Barry Barth has been named as branch manager of the South Houston, Texas, location. Barth joined the L&W Supply team in 2003 as a delivery driver at the Chicago, Illinois, location. Shortly after, Barth continued his role as delivery driver at the Houston, Texas, location. In 2017, Barth was promoted to delivery service manager for the Pearland, Texas, location.

“Barry’s strong operational background will be invaluable to our South Houston team,” said Texas District Manager Paul Dean. “We are incredibly excited to see Barry and his team reach new heights together.”

Brent Hendrick has been named branch manager of the Winder, Georgia, location. Hendrick joined L&W Supply in 2018 as delivery service manager for the Alpharetta, Georgia, location. In addition, Hendrick is a recent 2023 graduate of L&W Supply’s Branch Manager Training Program.

“Brent’s leadership, work ethic and half a decade of experience with L&W Supply make him the ideal candidate to lead our Winder location,” said Brian Murphy, Mid-South District manager. “We’re excited to see all he accomplishes in his new role.”

David Jones is the new branch manager of the Sarasota, Florida, location. Jones joined L&W Supply in October of 2020, bringing 30 years of industry experience to the Tampa, Florida, team. Prior to joining the team, Jones worked in a wide variety of roles, including warehousing, inside sales, outside sales, dispatch, and operations manager.

At L&W Supply, Jones has held the roles of delivery service manager and branch manager at the North Fort Myers, Florida, location. Most recently, Jones transferred to the Sarasota location to continue his role as branch manager.

“Throughout his time with us, David has consistently been a strong leader and an expert resource for customers and associates alike,” said Gulf Coast District Manager Regi Shelley. “I am confident his commitment to excellent service will help contractors in the Sarasota area grow their businesses.”

Josh Goodin has been named branch manager of its Alpharetta North, Georgia. Goodin joined L&W Supply as an outside sales representative in 2018, working at the district’s first greenfield location in Alpharetta. He graduated from Branch Manager Training in 2021.

“Throughout his tenure at L&W Supply, Josh has demonstrated his passion for leadership and mentorship,” said Mid-South District Manager Brian Murphy. “His hard work has been key to our region’s growth, and I look forward to seeing the impact he is able to have in a management role.”

Pat Sloan has been named branch manager of L&W Supply’s Appleton, Wisconsin, location. Sloan joined L&W Supply in 2021 and has gained experience in many areas of the business. During this time, he has taken on duties in addition to his Inside Sales Representative role, such as backup delivery services manager and showroom captain at the West Allis, Wisconsin, location.

“Pat has done a tremendous job forging trust and credibility with our customers from an inside sales capacity,” said Mark Woodsum, manager of L&W Supply’s Upper Midwest District. “I am confident that these skills will serve him well in his new leadership role as he and his team continue to provide great service for Appleton area contractors.”
