Lowe's pitches new features to homeowners
At the recent CES event held in Las Vegas, Lowe's unveiled its plan to rebrand the "Lowe's Digital Home Platform" into "MyLowe's Home."
The new platform will include:
Centralized product info. This feature aims to be a digital repository for pertinent household documents like warranties, manuals and appliance details.
Home digitization. Through MyLowe's Home, users can upload room dimensions, as well as specific product details about windows, doors and furniture. With a scan of a smartphone camera, Lowe's says its app can measure spaces and identify objects using "optical character recognition" tech.
