Industry veteran joins Davis-Hawn Lumber Company

Davis-Hawn Lumber Company, part of the family-owned Reichert Woodworks family of companies, announced that industry veteran Wayne Tarver has joined the dealer’s sales team.  

Tarver’s distinguished career includes over 37 years with DeFord Lumber in Duncanville, Texas along with four years at BMC and Builders FirstSource (BFS) following the purchase of DeFord Lumber. 

Throughout his career, Tarver has serviced the estate home and custom builder market with great success, Davis-Hawn Lumber Company said.

“For decades, Wayne has served DFW’s finest estate builders as their go-to salesman for quality lumber and building materials, building a reputation of expertise, problem-solving, and service,” said Dave Reichert,  owner of the Reichert Woodworks family of companies. “We are excited Wayne has joined our team to  continue his success.”  

Tarver will work directly with Davis-Hawn Lumber Company and Architectural Carpentry Materials (ACM),  the two lumber yards owned by Reichert Woodworks, to provide premium lumber, millwork, and building materials to estate and custom home builders.  

Davis-Hawn’s roots trace back to 1923. The dealer and Reichert Woodworks are based in Dallas, Texas.
