Boise Cascade recently acquired New England distribution powerhouse, BROSCO.

Boise Cascade Company plans to add a new door shop in Commerce City, Colorado.

The Denver suburb will host a 127,000-square-foot millwork facility scheduled to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2023.

Boise said production at the operation is scheduled to start in early 2024.

“We are excited that this new facility will allow us to expand our offering of pre-hung doors and other millwork products in one of the country’s fastest-growing markets,” said Bud Skinner, millwork business development manager at Boise Cascade.

“Our new state-of-the-art facility in the Denver market will complement our full-line distribution business,” said Jerry Bandel, Boise Cascade Denver branch manager. “We look forward to providing high service levels and will work to integrate and leverage our sales team’s abilities as we ramp up the millwork production capabilities.”

Last month, Boise Cascade made news when it announced it was acquiring New England building products distributor BROSCO (Brockway-Smith Company) in a $172 million deal.

The company also announced in May that its Building Products Distribution business has plans for expansion in Alabama.
