Belco acquired its 16-acre manufacturing facility in Shelton in 2003 and redesigned it to produce Belco XT Trim more efficiently.
Belco Forest Products, the manufacturer of preservative-treated exterior wood trim, is expanding its headquarters facility and enhancing its operations ahead of the company’s 45th anniversary.
The $2.5 million expansion will improve the efficiency of manufacturing, enabling faster shipping to customers and strengthening Belco’s commitment to sustainability, Belco said.
The project includes a 15,000-square-foot building addition to facilitate business expansion and an additional six acres of asphalt to support storing and shipping of finished goods.
All of the new square footage will be located on Belco’s primary site in Shelton, Washington will support the optimization of shipping and storage.
“By consolidating our operations, we're cutting costs, boosting efficiency, and embracing sustainability throughout the manufacturing process,” said Belco President and CEO Bill Staley.
“This expansion isn't just about growth; it's about revolutionizing our operations to benefit our customers and the environment,” Staley added. “We’re committed to delivering the highest quality product while minimizing our carbon footprint, a practice that aligns with our company’s values.”
Belco was founded in 1978 and produces preservative-treated exterior millwork for residential and commercial construction.
