Westlake Ace opens in California

Westlake Ace Hardware reported it has opened a new location at Porter Ranch, California (in the valley north of Los Angeles) hosting a grand opening event last weekend.

The event was also an opportunity for the community to meet Henok Aynalem, the store’s general manager, who brings more than 15 years of experience in retail management.

The company said: “Family-oriented and results-driven, Aynalem is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.”

At the event, a ceremonial board cutting by Westlake Ace leadership and representatives from the Chatsworth-Porter Ranch Chamber of Commerce was held.

A “Grand Opening Bucket Sale” was also held, and customers donated $5 for a bucket for Children’s Miracle Network and received 20 percent off all purchases during the weekend.

In addition to selling lawn and garden supplies, fasteners, tools, plumbing, and electrical supplies, the 29,000-square-foot store offers services such as automotive key cutting and fob replacement, a propane tank exchange, and knife sharpening.

The new store will also feature several specialty departments and store-within-a-store concepts, said the company.
