Wood cutting ceremony by Jason Teems, general manager at Westlake Ace Twin Oaks.
The newest Westlake Ace Hardware store has just opened in Twin Oaks, Missouri. The new store joins four other Westlake Ace Hardware locations in the St. Louis area.
The grand opening event is also an opportunity for the community to become acquainted with Jason Teems, the store’s general manager.
“Teems has been part of Westlake Ace Hardware since 2006,” said the company, “and is looking forward to building a team that will provide the Twin Oaks community with outstanding customer service.”
Outside of work, the GM can be found at any number of baseball fields in the St. Louis area watching his youngest son play baseball and his oldest son coach the sport, said the firm.
Located in West St. Louis County, at 18,000 square feet, the store will stock a large range of products including lawn and garden supplies, fasteners, tools, plumbing, and electrical supplies, and offer services such as automotive key cutting and fob replacement, and propane tank exchange.
The store will also feature several specialty departments and store-within-a-store concepts, said Westlake.
Headquartered in the Kansas City area, Westlake Ace Hardware, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ace Retail Holdings, said it currently owns and operates more than 155 stores in 12 states, and has been part of the Ace Hardware Cooperative since 1959.
