Westlake Ace grows in Missouri
Westlake Ace Hardware is growing again – with a new store just opened in Liberty, Missouri, a northern suburb of Kansas City with a population of 30,000.
At the recent grand opening, the local community had an opportunity to meet Sean Bogle, the new store’s general manager.
“It was a great turnout,” said Bogle. “Our local customers and all vendors came out and we have a new team of employees starting in the business – that was fun and exciting.”
Bogle joined Westlake Ace Hardware in 2008 and has nearly 25 years of retail management experience, said the company: “In his spare time, he enjoys landscaping, gardening and home repair.”
The store, at 15,000 square feet, will sell lawn and garden supplies, fasteners, tools, plumbing, and electrical supplies, said the firm, and offer services such as automotive key cutting and fob replacement and propane tank exchange.
The store will also feature several specialty departments and store-within-a-store concepts, selling such brands as:
- Milwaukee, DeWalt, and Craftsman power tools;
- Benjamin Moore and Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines paints;
- Stihl, Ego, and Milwaukee outdoor power equipment;
- Weber, Traeger, Big Green Egg, and Ooni grills and accessories;
- Scotts lawn care products;
- Solo Stove fire pits;
- Yeti coolers and accessories; and,
- Nursery plants, flowers, shrubs, and outdoor living supplies.
Westlake Ace said it currently owns and operates more than 20 stores in the Kansas City metropolitan area.
