Mission Hills neighborhood in L.A. to be the next Westlake store location.

At the location in Mission Hills, the store will carry brands such as STIHL, Craftsman, Weber, Benjamin Moore and others, said Westlake Ace Hardware.

Westlake Ace Hardware announced it has signed an agreement to open a new store in Mission Hills, California.

“We are thrilled to be joining the thriving and vibrant community of Mission Hills and are eager to showcase the leading products and legendary service the Ace brand is known for,” said Joe Jeffries, president and CEO of Ace Retail Holdings, the parent company of Westlake Ace Hardware.

Renovations to the space are scheduled to begin in 2025, with an opening later next year. The new store will have approximately 15,000 square feet of retail space, said the company.

Westlake Ace reported it currently owns and operates six locations in Southern California: La Crescenta, Porter Ranch, South Pasadena, Thousand Oaks, Van Nuys, and West LA.

Also, the company said it plans to open locations in Agoura Hills, Glendale, Placentia, and Simi Valley in 2024.

“Westlake Ace Hardware has been providing our friends, neighbors, and customers throughout Southern California with reliable service, helpful advice, and the products they need since 2019,” said Jeffries.

Headquartered in the Kansas City area and part of the Ace Hardware Cooperative since 1959, Westlake Ace Hardware is the, “helpful neighborhood hardware store,” it said, and owns and operates 160 stores in 12 states.
