Westlake Ace delivers hugs for kids
This holiday season, Westlake Ace Hardware and Warmies, the stuffed animal brand, teamed up with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to bring warmth and comfort to children. Through the Warm Hug Delivery initiative, children at three regional CMN hospitals — Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago, KU Medical Center in Kansas City, and Ascension Via Christi in Wichita, Kan., — received more than 500 donated Warmies stuffed animals to brighten their day and provide comfort during their medical journey.
"At Westlake Ace, being a helpful neighbor goes beyond delivering great service – it means serving our communities and supporting meaningful causes like CMN Hospitals,” said Tony Houk, vice president of store operations for Westlake Ace Hardware. “Through our partnership with Warmies, our desire is to bring comfort and joy to children who need it most.”
The campaign highlights the ongoing commitment of Warmies and Westlake Ace Hardware to supporting local communities, particularly CMN Hospitals. Warmies and Westlake Ace Hardware said they are proud to contribute to its success, inspiring children to make healthier lifestyle choices that will shape their futures.
