TAL Holdings makes executive moves

Richard Anderson named CFO while Renee Coffman is promoted to director of vendor relations and category management.

TAL Holdings has named Richard Anderson as chief financial officer and Renee Coffman as director of vendor relations and category management. 

Based in Vancouver, Wash. TAL Holdings operates 25 building material centers located throughout the Pacific Northwest.

“We are excited for the impact that these two leaders will have at TAL,” says Jason Blair, CEO of TAL Holdings.. “Richard brings extensive experience in finance and accounting as well as a hands-on approach to leadership that will help support our ambitious growth goals.”

Anderson joins TAL after successful tenures at Intel Corporation, Killian Pacific, and Enron corporations. He brings over 35 years of experience in finance and accounting, business valuation, tax consultation, debt financing, risk management, and leadership. His industry experience ranges from startups to global Fortune 100 companies, TAL Holdings said.

Coffman will lead a team that will focus on driving category growth by optimizing product selection and merchandising strategies, improving store layout design, and managing vendor programs.

She will report to Dana Cowart, vice president of sales and marketing. Coffman joined TAL Holdings in 2015.

“Renee is a passionate leader who has been a key contributor to TAL’s success and growth,” Blair said. “Her energy, knowledge of the industry and relationships with our vendor community are a great fit for this newly created role.”

TAL’s family of brands includes Badger Building Center, Bayview Building Supply of Elma, Best Built Builders Supply, Browne’s Home Center, Gerretsen Building Supply, Lake Chelan Building Supply, Marson and Marson Lumber, Midway Building Supply, Mount Vernon Building Center, and Tum-A-Lum Lumber.
