SRS Distribution acquires Louis T. Ollesheimer & Son
SRS Distribution Inc. has expanded again with the acquisition of Louis T. Ollesheimer & Son, Inc. (LTO), a distributor of commercial and residential roofing and other related products.
Based in Madison Heights, Mich., LTO was founded in 1916 and is currently run by Jamie Ollesheimer. The Company operates 12 locations in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and West Virginia. and employs a team of 80 people. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
SRS said that Ollesheimer will continue to lead the company under the LTO banner, "ensuring continuity and consistency for customers, suppliers, and employees."
“We have known Jamie for many years and are incredibly proud he has entrusted SRS with the business his family has spent generations building,” said Dan Tinker, president and CEO of SRS Distribution. “LTO is one of the oldest and largest independent roofing distributors in the Midwest, and its commercial roofing presence will be a strong complement to our residential roofing footprint in the region.”
Ollesheimer said that he is pleased to announce that LTO will be joining the SRS family of independent roofing distributors. SRS maintains a tradition of retaining the independent banners of the companies it acquires.

Based in McKinney, Texas, SRS Distribution operates more than 430 locations in 44 states. The building products distributor is a portfolio company of Leonard Green & Partners, L.P. and Berkshire Partners LLC.
