Outdoor Living Supply (OLS) announced that it has acquired The Rock Place, a distributor of hardscape, natural and manufactured stone, porcelain, and landscape products.

According to a press release on the OLS website, the move expands its footprint into Tennessee with the addition of four locations in the greater Nashville market.

The Rock Place is owned by Lee and William Marbet and was founded in 1908. Lee currently oversees operations at The Rock Place and will continue in a regional leadership role, OLS said.

“We are thrilled to welcome The Rock Place to the OLS family of companies,” said Brian Price, CEO of Outdoor Living Supply. “The Rock Place has built an exceptional team and shares our commitment to customer service and growth vision. This partnership provides us with an exciting runway for expansion in middle Tennessee.”

The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP served as legal advisor to OLS.

“Over our 15-year history, we have taken The Rock Place from a single retail location to a leading regional distributor," Lee Marbet, owner of The Rock Place, said. "This partnership with OLS will provide us the platform and resources needed to reach the next level, creating growth, additional value, and expanded opportunities for our employees and customers.”

Outdoor Living Supply is a distribution platform for outdoor living products with a focus on hardscapes.  The company operates more than 30 locations in 15 states under multiple banners.

OLS was launched in partnership with Trilantic North America in late 2020. Trilantic Capital Management L.P. is a growth-focused middle market private equity firm focused on control and significant minority investments in North America.
