Retail exec promoted at at Ace

Kansas City, Mo.-based Ace Retail Holdings, the parent company of Westlake Ace Hardware, Great Lakes Ace Hardware, and other retail hardware brands, promoted Tony Houk to vice president of store operations.

In his new role, Houk will oversee all store operations across Ace Retail Holdings’ 250-plus locations. He will also sit on the company’s executive committee.

Houk was previously the chief operating officer of Great Lakes Ace Hardware. While there, he played a pivotal role in streamlining store operations, enhancing customer service, and driving sales growth. Prior to that, he worked for Ace Hardware Inc.
