Westlake Ace opens doors In Simi Valley

The grand opening ceremonies of Ace Hardware of Simi Valley will run through June 2. 

The new store in the Westlake Ace Hardware portfolio measures 16,000 sq. ft. and features a wide range of core hardware products. It also offers services such as automotive key cutting, key fob replacement, carpet cleaning machine rental, and propane tank exchange.

The company said the grand opening presents an opportunity for the community to meet the store's general manager, Melissa Minter.

Minter was most recently the assistant manager of Ace of Porter Ranch. She
joined Westlake Ace Hardware in 2019 from a leadership position at Walmart.

A former competitive ice skater, Minter enjoys football, baseball, country music concerts, and Field of Dreams – her favorite movie. Passion guides her life and career, and she adheres to the mantra, “If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.”

The new store is located at 2910 Tapo Canyon Road.

Kansas City, Missouri-based Westlake Ace owns and operates 17 California locations, including six Southern California stores. The retailer is developing locations in Agoura Hills, Mission Hills, San Jose, San Leandro, and Placentia.
