Northern Tool opens another store in Texas

Northern Tool + Equipment announced that its retail location in Killeen, Texas, will be opening to customers on October 25, with a grand opening celebration taking place on November 4.

“We look forward to joining the Killeen community and helping our customers find the right tool for the job,” said Steve Spears, VP of retail for Northern Tool + Equipment.

The firm said the new location provides both a retail shopping option for professional-grade tools and job opportunities in this city of 156,000 located halfway between Fort Worth and San Antonio.

“We have a strong presence in Texas and are excited to serve DIYers and tradespeople in the area,” said Spears.

Minnesota-based and family-owned Northern Tool + Equipment has more than 130 stores across the country with a goal of continuing to grow its presence nationwide.

With a passion for serving their communities and helping to fill the trades labor shortage, the company said its Tools for the Trades program donates high-quality tools directly into school classrooms, helping teachers show students the value of working in the trades.
