L&W Supply promotes 5 branch managers

Branch managers are responsible for cultivating customer relationships, guiding associates, and executing growth.

L&W Supply, the national distributor of interior building materials and construction supplies, has announced the promotion of five branch managers.

Branch managers at L&W Supply are responsible for managing daily operations, cultivating customer relationships, guiding associates, and executing branch growth and profitability.

  • Dewayne Richards has been named branch manager of its Bloomington, Indiana, location. Richards has held several roles, including inside sales representative and branch manager. He is also a recent 2023 graduate of L&W Supply’s Branch Manager Training Program.

    “Dewayne brings over 20 years of industry experience to this role, and his in-depth knowledge and customer-centric approach make him a great fit for this position," said Craig Peyton, district manager at L&W Supply’s East Central District. “We are excited about the impact he will have on the customers in the Bloomington area."
     
  • Chris Vanderstappen has been named branch manager of its Fort Collins, Colorado, location. Vanderstappen joined L&W Supply in 2001 at the Midvale, Utah, branch. During this time, Vanderstappen has held several roles, including stocker, driver, forklift operator, inside sales representative, price zone captain, technology trainer, delivery services manager and, most recently, outside sales representative.

    “Chris’ excellent leadership skills and dedication to providing exceptional customer and team support make him the perfect fit for this role," said Matt Myers, L&W Supply Heartland District manager. "Chris will ensure that customers in the Fort Collins area will continue to receive the expert service and outstanding products that make their lives easier.”

  • Jesse Spurling has been named branch manager of its Indianapolis, Indiana, location. Spurling joined L&W Supply in 2012 as a driver and operator. While working full time, he also earned degrees in accounting and operations supply chain management from Indiana University. Spurling has held several roles at L&W Supply, including inside sales representative, delivery service manager and branch manager.

    “Jesse’s passion for delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth makes him the ideal candidate for this new role," said Craig Peyton, district manager of L&W Supply’s East Central District. “We are confident that Jesse and his team will continue to provide our customers with industry-best products and support."
     
  • Todd Thorlton has been named branch manager of its Terre Haute, Indiana, location.Thorlton brings more than three decades of experience in the building materials and construction industry, having held previous positions as an outside sales representative at ABC Supply, L&W Supply’s parent company, and L&W Supply. In addition, Thorlton is a recent graduate of the 2022 Branch Manager Training Program.

    “Todd’s exceptional leadership skills, coupled with his deep knowledge of our products and services, make him the perfect candidate to take on this role," said Craig Peyton, district manager at L&W Supply’s East Central District. "We are confident that under his leadership, his team will continue to provide our customers with the exceptional support and products they deserve."

L&W Supply operates more than 250 locations across the country.
  • Kevin Mancill has been named branch manager of its new Flagstaff, Arizona, location. Mancill joined L&W Supply in 2017 at the Ogden, Utah, location. Throughout his time at L&W Supply, Kevin has held many roles including dispatch, color room specialist and inside sales representative. He also is NCCCO certified and has a Class A CDL. In addition, Kevin was recently awarded the 2022 Mountain West District Delivery Service Manager of the Year Award.

    “We couldn't be more excited to have Kevin take on the role of branch manager. His deep understanding of our customers' needs and his commitment to providing exceptional team support make him the perfect fit for this position,” said Walter C. Reinthaler Jr., district manager of L&W Supply’s Mountain West District. “We are confident the new Flagstaff branch will make our customers’ lives easier with our high-quality products and services.”
