L&W Supply announced that it has promoted Curt Jenkins, former district manager for Texas, to Central Region vice president.
The Central Region of L&W Supply consists of several major markets for building material distribution, including Chicago, Nashville, and Texas. In his new role, Jenkins will be responsible for leading the Central Region to expand the branch footprint, optimize their processes, and reinforce L&W Supply’s commitment to customer and vendor relationships.
Regional vice presidents play a key leadership role at the company, responsible for ensuring L&W Supply’s branches continue to refine service and support for their customers, L&W Supply said.
Jenkins has been in the building materials industry for 35 years, having spent 24 of those years with L&W Supply.
Prior to becoming the manager for the Texas District, Jenkins served as branch manager for six different branches in Florida, eventually receiving a promotion to Florida District manager.
The Chicago-based building materials distributor Jenkins’ proven track record of growing talent and delivering results, coupled with his deep knowledge of the market landscape, has helped earn him this promotion.
“Among the leaders at L&W Supply, Curt Jenkins is uniquely suited for this position,” says Dan Piché, president of L&W Supply. “Not only is he one of our most knowledgeable and experienced district managers, but he has an unparalleled grasp on the complexities of our branches in the Central Region. We’re very excited to see how Curt will continue to push L&W’s branch teams forward to deliver world-class service and operational excellence.”
L&W Supply distributes gypsum wallboards, suspended ceiling tiles and other interior building materials. From its founding in 1971, L&W Supply operates 200 locations in 38 states. The company is a subsidiary of ABC Supply with more than 800 locations nationwide.
