L&W Supply finalizes acquisition of Builders FirstSource gypsum operations
L&W Supply reported that it has finalized its purchase of the assets of the Eastern U.S. Gypsum Distribution Operations of Builders FirstSource,
The move provides Chicago-based L&W with 21 facilities located throughout the Northeast and Southeast, which generated sales of approximately $160 million for Builders FirstSource in 2020.
L&W Supply is a leading specialty distributor for drywall, ceilings, steel framing and other building materials used by commercial and residential specialty contractors. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed

With the additional locations in the northeast and southeast, we solidify our position in these markets and strengthen our partnerships with area contractors.”

L&W operates nearly 200 branches in 39 states. The company is a subsidiary of ABC Supply with more than 800 total locations.
