LBM Advantage has announced the appointment of Kirk Yoggy as member sales manager for the Southeast region.

The move was announced shortly after the LBM buying group publicly named David DeJoy as LBM Advantage’s new CEO.

Yoggy brings a wealth of experience to this role, having dedicated his entire career to the lumber and building industry. His previous positions include manager at various Midwest branches for MacMillan Bloedel Ltd., area manager for California, and the Mid-Atlantic region for Georgia Pacific Distribution/BlueLinx, and VP of sales at Fabral.

Most recently, Yoggy founded and operated Unity Growth Partners, a consulting and manufacturers’ representative business.

"The LBM industry is in my blood," commented Yoggy. “My experience with premier industry vendors has provided me with a deep understanding of lumber and building products, allowing me to grasp the inner workings of independent lumberyards from a global perspective."

Dan Ohmer, LBM Advantage's director of member development, expressed confidence in Yoggy's appointment. “Kirk has a long history of helping businesses achieve greater profits and has extensive industry product knowledge. I am confident that his expertise will assist our members with their operational and growth objectives.”
