Kodiak Building Partners has made leadership transitions within its northwest lumber sector.

Willie Hertford has been promoted to the position of president of Miller Lumber Company, succeeding Charley Miller, while Scott Peacock has been elevated to the role of president of Albeni Falls Building Supply.

These appointments come as part of Kodiak's strategic expansion efforts in the Northwest Region, the company said.

Hertford, who previously served as vice president of operations at Miller Lumber, will assume the president role on Nov. 16. He brings a wealth of industry expertise and a proven track record in various leadership roles, Kodiak said.

He will now oversee the strategic direction and operations of Miller Lumber, following the retirement of Charley Miller, the current president.

“I am honored to take on the role of President at Miller Lumber and build on the legacy left by Charley,” said Hertford. “This is a very exciting time for our business as we continue to build our production and sales capabilities and further establish our leadership role in our local communities.”

Kodiak noted that Charley Miller’s dedicated leadership significantly contributed to the growth and success of Miller Lumber, establishing it as a trusted provider of building materials in the Bend, Oregon area. Kodiak also said it “expresses deep appreciation for Miller’s years of service and guidance.”

Miller Lumber is headquartered in Bend, Oregon.

Peacock, the current general manager at Albeni Falls Building Supply, has been promoted to president of the company. The company is based in Oldtown, Idaho.

Peacock’s extensive industry knowledge and exceptional leadership skills will be instrumental in leading Albeni Falls to new heights, focusing on excellence, customer satisfaction, and growth, according to Kodiak.
