Home Depot nominates Microsoft AI exec to board
The Home Depot has nominated Asha Sharma, Microsoft corporate vice president and head of product, AI platform, for election to its board of directors at its 2025 annual meeting of shareholders. The meeting will be held virtually on May 22, 2025.
Sharma leads product development and computational design for Microsoft's artificial intelligence platform, which includes models, tools and services for the company's enterprise, developer and data science customers. Prior to joining Microsoft, Sharma held various leadership roles at Instacart, Facebook (now Meta), and home service software provider Porch Group, bringing a blend of leadership experience in technology, data protection and cybersecurity, e-commerce, supply chain, finance, operations and marketing.
