Floor & Decor extends into Iowa

Floor & Decor is expanding with the opening of a new 78,000-square-foot store in West Des Moines, Iowa.

Scheduled to open on June 23, this marks the retailer’s first store in Iowa. The store opening is the sixth new store for Floor & Decor in 2021, along with locations in California, Connecticut, Indiana, Oklahoma, and South Carolina.

The latest location will open with a team of about 50 full-time and part-time associates led by Matt Beckman, the new store’s chief executive merchant.

“We are eager to introduce both professional customers, as well as homeowners, to our one-stop solution for their flooring needs with an extensive selection of in-stock, trend-right flooring options,” Beckman said. “We offer great service and quality flooring at unbeatable prices. With our free design services, we look forward to helping every customer complete their dream project.”

The West Des Moines Floor & Decor store will be giving away a $5,000 Floor Makeover as part of its grand opening festivities. 

Pro customers, including builders, contractors, architects, designers, remodelers, flooring installers and realtors, are also invited to schedule a tour of the new location.

Based in Atlanta, Ga., Floor & Decor operates 140 stores along with two design studios in 32 states.
