Floor & Decor entering Twin Cities market
Floor & Decor, the fast-rising flooring retailer, plans to open its latest location on Sept. 7.
Located in Maple Grove, Minn., the warehouse store and design center will open with a team of about 50 full-time and part-time associates led by Mandy Stratton, the new store’s chief executive merchant.
The opening marks Floor & Decor’s first entry into the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro market.

The store will be giving away a $5,000 Floor Makeover as part of its grand opening festivities. Following the grand opening, the location plans to host a family-friendly “Super Saturday” event on Sept. 10
Professional customers are invited to attend a special Pro VIP Grand Opening event on Sept. 29.

Based in Atlanta, Floor & Decor operated 174 warehouse format stores and five design studios across 34 states as of June 30.
The stores offer homeowners and professionals a broad in-stock selection of tile, natural wood, natural stone, laminate, and luxury vinyl plank, along with tools, decorative materials, wall tile, and related accessories for hard-surface flooring projects.
In August, the specialty retailer reported second quarter sales surged ahead 27% to $1.09 billion.
Floor & Decor plans to open eight new locations in the third quarter and 32 new stores overall in 2022.
