Erie Materials announces promotions and hires

Erie Materials, the Syracuse, New York-based distributor of building materials has announced several promotions and new hires.

Matt Rudy was named the incoming General Manager of the Auburn, New York location. He will work closely with current General Manager Randy Moore throughout the year to ensure a smooth transition. Rudy joined Erie Materials in 2018 as Warehouse Manager and previously held key leadership roles.

Brian Moran was selected as a Territory Manager at the Scranton, Pennsylvania branch. Moran joined Erie Materials in 2012 as a warehouse specialist and was promoted to driver in 2013. In 2015, he was promoted to inside sales.

Jose Cartagena was promoted to inside salesperson at our Scranton branch. Cartagena has worked for Erie Materials since 2005 as a driver, dispatcher, and boom operator.

Josh Cady rejoined the Binghamton, New York branch as an inside salesperson. Cady started as summer help in the warehouse while in college. After completing his bachelor's degree, he joined Erie Materials full-time as a warehouse specialist. He relocated for a while then returned to Binghamton and rejoined the staff.

Mitch DeVito joined the inside sales staff at the Watertown, New York location. DeVito had worked for another local building materials dealer.

Tony DiMassimo joined the Williamsport, Pennsylvania location as an inside sales representative. He has over 15 years of industry experience.

Justin Walker was named warehouse manager at the Syracuse location. He originally joined Erie Materials in 2010 and has worked in the warehouse, as a CDL driver and a backup dispatcher, as well as training to become a boom operator.
