Do it Best names directors of operations
Do it Best has appointed Matt Loprest and Tim Pieper as directors of operations. These hires follow the promotions of Ty Sordelet to VP of Logistics in December 2024 and Steve Rose to True Value VP of Distribution in November 2024.

Matt Loprest
Loprest joins Do it Best with extensive leadership experience in logistics, operations management and supply chain optimization. Most recently serving as an assistant general manager at Amazon, Do it Best says he played a pivotal role in improving quality, reducing defects, and streamlining workflow efficiencies. His tenure included optimizing inbound and outbound processes and enhancing fulfillment center performance.

Tim Pieper
Pieper brings over 20 years of experience in managerial roles. His expertise spans inventory control, warehouse management, customer service, regulatory compliance and supply chain optimization. A certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, he has led numerous cost-saving initiatives and process improvements throughout his career.
“Tim brings a wealth of experience and operational expertise to our team,” said Sordelet. “His track record of maintaining a 99.75 percent inventory accuracy rate at a large-scale distribution center demonstrates his meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence. His leadership in logistics and distribution will further strengthen our ability to deliver top-tier service and efficiency to our members.”
