Dixie Plywood & Lumber hires new outside sales rep
Dixie Plywood & Lumber is announcing the appointment of Michael Martin as the new outside sales representative for San Antonio, Texas.
Michael joined the team in May 2024 and brings over 20 years of industry experience. Martin’s extensive background includes tenures at Allura Fiber Cement Co., Builders
FirstSource, and Tamlyn Building Products. According to the company, his deep knowledge of people and products will be instrumental in expanding Dixie Plywood’s customer base, particularly focusing on major accounts like Home Depot, Lowes, and key drywall and roofing supply houses including ABC, SRS, L&W, and White Cap.
“The goal is to put Dixie representation in front of these accounts on a regular basis in an effort to become their preferred supplier. We are excited to have him as part of the team and look forward to the new opportunities he will bring to Dixie,” said Ken Ainsley, sales manager of San Antonio.
Michael Martin’s presence at Dixie Plywood will enable the company to provide dedicated customer service to a growing segment of customers. His expertise in the building products industry, particularly in handling large national accounts, will be a significant asset to the company, according to Dixie.
A Texas native with extensive experience in sales and operations management, Michael is well positioned to lead Dixie Plywood’s efforts in San Antonio, bringing a unique market proposition and addressing large-scale challenges in the industry.
