  • Dremel launches DIY-friendly butane torches

    Dremel has introduced the VersaFlame and VeraTip tools, two butane torches for multi-purpose DIY applications such as soldering and brazing. 

    "The VersaFlame and VersaTip offer our consumers compact, multifunctional tools that are easy to use," said Ed Pchola, product director for Dremel. "With an extra-wide variety of applications in and around the house, these two new tools will help consumers complete projects and crafts with precision."

  • New Menards location to be developed in Ohio

    Menards plans to open a new location in Miami Township, Ohio, on Springboro Pike, according to a report in the Dayton Business Journal. The store will take the place of an existing plaza, the Lyons Crossing shopping center, which will be demolished to make room for the approximately $9 million project.

  • Tractor Supply opens seventh Vermont store

    Tractor Supply Co. opened a store in Morrisville, Vt., marking the company's seventh store in the state of Vermont. 

    The store measures a little more than 19,000 sq. ft. and employs about 15 full- and part-time employees, according to a report in StoweToday.com.

    The store will host an "Out Here with the Animals Day" on Sept. 29, offering advice and information regarding pet food, foraging, flock management and other areas.
