Beacon has already opened 14 new branches in 2023.

Beacon announced this morning that it has opened four new locations in Ruskin, Florida; Jackson, Tennessee; and Killeen and Tyler, Texas.

All of the branches serve residential and commercial contractors and lumberyards.

This year, Beacon has already opened 14 new branches across the country. The roofing and building products distributor is quickly reaching its goal of opening 15 new locations in 2023, which is part of the company’s “Ambition 2025” goals and strategy.

The new branch in Ruskin is in Hillsborough County, part of the greater Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater market.

“This location adds further service for customers in our Tampa Beacon OTC network. We are pleased to open along the Interstate 75 corridor to optimize deliveries and increase convenience for contractors needing to pick up building materials for residential and commercial projects,” said Jack Gill, Beacon regional vice president, Florida.

The new Jackson branch is located between Nashville and Memphis, a hot market on Interstate 40.

“This city is on a growth path, and we are pleased to serve the residential and commercial contractors who are building in the market,” said Brian Gibson, Beacon regional vice president, South Atlantic. “Our product range and digital tools, like Beacon PRO+, will help make us the supplier of choice,”

According to Beacon, the Killen branch is strategically located to serve Fort Cavazos (formerly Fort Hood) and the surrounding community.

“Our team has a long history of serving the government and military bases with the products and specialized services they require,” noted Peter Lippert, Beacon regional vice president, Texas. “We are proud to be adding this location and supporting the U.S. Army and its contractors.”

The Tyler branch is dedicated to serving lumberyard customers.  “This location’s proximity to Interstate 20 is ideal for serving our eastern Texas customers,” said Clint Waid, national vice president. “We have customized our product range, trucking routes, and staff knowledge to deliver industry-leading service in this region."

Openings, along with acquisitions, this year have included locations that strengthen the company’s waterproofing business

In June alone, Beacon opened five new branches in New Hampshire, Ohio, Virginia, and Florida.

Earlier this month, Beacon also acquired Silver State Building Materials located in Gardnerville, Nevada.

Prior acquisitions this year include First Coastal Exteriors and Whitney Building Products – both having a focus on waterproofing products.

In May, Beacon reported reported first quarter sales moved ahead 2.7% to a new company record of $1.73 billion.
