Barenbrug adds leadership

Barenbrug USA announced the recent hire of Jeff Gazaway as southern professional turf and forage sales manager.

“We are excited to have Jeff on our team here at Barenbrug. He will be instrumental in working with our distributors on the ground level in both our Professional Forage and Professional Turf sales sectors,” said Justin Burns, vice president of sales, pro divisions.

Gazaway has spent more than 25 years serving the turf and agriculture industry sectors in a variety of roles.

His turfgrass experience, said the company, ranges from management of golf courses, commercial and residential landscapes to serving as the assistant extension turfgrass specialist for the state of Oklahoma, where he assisted with NTEP and herbicide trials and industry education events and consulted on turfgrass production issues.

In the agricultural sector, Gazaway has been involved in forage and livestock mineral sales and has further contributed to production success by facilitating producer education meetings.

He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Education from Oklahoma State University.

“Jeff brings with him a great deal of industry knowledge for forage and turf, and we look forward to having him in this position as a part of our team,” said Burns.
