Barenbrug USA adds leadership

Barenbrug USA has appointed Cassie Kearns as the national sales manager for professional turf.

“Cassie has been an integral part of our team for over 11 years. She has successfully managed our largest volume territory and worked closely with many of our key customers. She brings a passion for customer centricity and a vision for the future of professional turf sales,” said Justin Burns, VP sales.

Starting this month, Kearns will manage the sales functions for the individual sectors, including managing the external sales teams, for this Tangent, Oregon-based turf grass company.

Kearns first started as the southern territory sales manager for the professional turf and forage sectors.

She has excelled in her previous positions, the firm said, and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the turf program.

“During her time at Barenbrug, she has strengthened our position in existing markets, innovated our turf marketing, and helped build a collaborative team environment,” said the company.

“Cassie currently lives in Texas and enjoys skeet shooting, fishing, four-wheeling, and working on restoring a 1975 Scout II.”

Barenbrug was established in Arnhem, Netherlands, in 1904 by Joseph Barenbrug. It’s a family-owned business, the core activities of which are plant breeding, grass seed production and the international marketing of seed for turf and forage grasses and legumes.
