Ace Hardware opens in Glendale, Calif.
The new Ace Hardware of Glendale at 537 North Glendale Avenue will host special grand opening events and a sale June 28-30. The weekend event is also an opportunity to meet William Chavez, the new store’s general manager.
The 12,500 sq. ft. store features a wide range of products including lawn and garden supplies, fasteners, tools, plumbing, and electrical supplies. It also offers services such as automotive key cutting, key fob replacement, Stihl outdoor power equipment repair, carpet cleaning machine rental, and propane tank exchange.
Ace Hardware of Glendale features several specialty departments and store-within-a-store concepts, selling such leading brands as:
- Big Green Egg, Blackstone, Traeger, and Weber grills and accessories
- Craftsman, DeWalt, and Milwaukee power tools
- Diablo saw blades and power tool accessories
- Benjamin Moore and Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines paints
- EGO, Milwaukee, Stihl, and Toro outdoor power equipment
- Scotts and Miracle-Gro lawn and plant care products
- Yeti coolers and accessories
After a long career in retail, William Chavez joined the Westlake Ace Hardware family as general manager of the new Glendale store. He enjoys solving problems for customers (a.k.a. his “guests”) – especially anything related to automotive repair and BBQ. “I love grilling and cooking outdoors for my family. So, if ever you need any tips, I’m here to help,” he says.
Westlake Ace owns and operates 19 California locations, including nine in Southern California: Glendale, La Crescenta, Placentia, Porter Ranch, Simi Valley, South Pasadena, Thousand Oaks, Van Nuys, and West L.A. The retailer is developing locations in Northern and Southern California, including Agoura Hills, Mission Hills, and San Leandro.
