This year, ABC Supply is celebrating two major people milestones: the building product distributor’s 40th anniversary and 16th consecutive year it has received a Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award.

ABC Supply has long partnered with the Gallup Organization to be measured against a set of rigorous criteria that assesses employee engagement.

Gallup said that it studies millions of employees and organizations around the world, with research and data showing that exceptional workplaces share two common characteristics: a people-focused business strategy and a committed workplace culture. These characteristics speak to an employer’s ability to create a positive, supportive culture where employees feel engaged and motivated to succeed, ABC Supply said.

The Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award recognizes the top companies around the world that incorporate employee engagement, motivate their teams. and achieve business outcomes.

“Winning this award so many years in a row is a testament to the skill, strength and commitment of our more than 17,000 associates,” said Mike Jost, CEO of ABC Supply. “They’re the reason we’ve been so successful for the past 40 years."
