Westlake Ace Hardware has signed an agreement to build a new store in Jenks, Oklahoma.
Construction of the building will begin in early 2023, said the firm, with a tentative opening in late 2023. Westlake Ace currently owns and operates 14 other locations throughout Oklahoma.
“We are thrilled to open a store in Jenks and show our new customers and neighbors how we live the Ace Helpful Promise every day through reliable service, helpful advice, and the products they need to get their projects done right,” said Joe Jeffries, president and CEO of Westlake Ace Hardware.
In addition to offering services such as key cutting and automotive key fob replacement, propane tank exchange, and knife sharpening, said the company, the new Westlake Ace store will sell lawn and garden supplies, fasteners, tools, plumbing and electrical supplies.
The location will also feature several specialty departments and store-within-a-store concepts, selling such brands as:
- The backyard BBQ department will feature a full range of grills and BBQ accessories from such leading brands as Blackstone, Ooni, Weber and Traeger.
- The outdoor power equipment department will sell a full range of gas-, electric-, and battery-powered blowers, chain saws, mowers, and string trimmers from manufacturers such as Stihl, EGO, Craftsman and Toro.
- The paint studio will feature a wide range of paints and painting supplies from Benjamin Moore, Magnolia Home, Clark + Kensington, Purdy and Kilz.
“Westlake Ace Hardware has been dedicated to delivering reliable service and helpful advice for more than 117 years,” said Jeffries.
Westlake has been part of the Ace Hardware Cooperative since 1959, a wholly owned Ace subsidiary since 2012, and currently owns and operates more than 150 stores in 12 states.
