Dogs and handlers at the Animal Compassion Team in Fresno, California, will get a visit in December from Westlake Ace to say thanks for all they do for shelter pets.
Westlake Ace Hardware recently celebrated National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week by surprising several animal shelters across the country with supplies, financial support, and treats for the furry residents and the big-hearted humans who take care of them.
In San Angelo, Texas, Westlake Ace General Manager Mike Avila surprised Cassie’s Place.
In Westlake’s hometown of Kansas City, the firm partnered with Scott Poore of On a Mission KC, to help surprise Melissa’s Second Chances, Wayside Waifs, and the Lawrence (KS) Humane Society.
“Our team in Fresno, California, led by our General Manager Frank Netto, plans to drop in on the Animal Compassion Team to show our appreciate for all that they do,” said Westlake Ace.
Westlake Ace said it has been a long-time advocate for homeless pets in the communities they serve.
“It is our way of showing how ‘pawsitively’ thankful we are for the hard work and immeasurable service these shelters provide to our furry friends in need,” said Westlake Ace.
