Westlake Ace adds store in California
Westlake Ace Hardware has signed a lease agreement to open a new store in Porter Ranch (San Fernando Valley), California. Westlake Ace currently owns and operates 12 locations throughout California.
“We are thrilled to open a store in Porter Ranch and show our new customers and neighbors how we live the Ace Helpful Promise every day through reliable service, helpful advice, and the products they need to get their projects done right,” said Joe Jeffries, president and CEO of Westlake Ace Hardware.
Renovations to the space will begin autumn 2022, said the retailer, with a soft opening in early 2023. The store will feature more than 29,000 square feet of retail space.
In addition to offering such services as key cutting and automotive key fob replacement, a propane tank exchange, knife sharpening, and screen repair, Ace Hardware of Porter Ranch will sell lawn and garden supplies, fasteners, tools, plumbing, and electrical supplies.
The new store will also feature several specialty departments and store-within-a-store concepts, said Westlake, selling such brands as:
- Milwaukee, DeWalt, and Craftsman power tools
- Benjamin Moore and Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines paints
- Stihl, Ego, and Milwaukee outdoor power equipment
- Weber, Traeger, and Big Green Egg grills and accessories
- Scotts lawn care products
- Solo Stove firepits
- Dickies and Carhartt men’s workwear
- Yeti coolers and accessories
- Live plants and outdoor living supplies.
All stores operated by Westlake Ace Hardware offer many convenient ways to shop, including in-store; online and mobile app with pickup in-store or free curbside pickup; and delivery from store. Certain restrictions apply, said the company.
“Westlake Ace Hardware has been dedicated to delivering reliable service and helpful advice for more than 117 years,” said Jeffries.
Headquartered in the Kansas City area, Westlake Ace Hardware has been the helpful neighborhood hardware store countless generations have shopped at for power and hand tools, fasteners, paint, plumbing, lawn care, pet, electrical supplies, and BBQ grills and accessories.
Westlake has been part of the Ace Hardware Cooperative since 1959, a wholly owned Ace subsidiary since 2012, and currently owns and operates 151 stores in 12 states.
