Cheryl, who grew up in a military family, brings a passion for military and veteran hiring and appreciates the unique experiences that veterans have to offer. Repeatedly recognized for building highly engaged teams, her coaching helps team members excel.

Retired Army First Sergeant David Kirgan joined the Builders FirstSource Military Career Team in 2023. As a third-generation service member, David dedicated a quarter of a century to the U.S. Army, specializing in recruitment roles for nearly two decades. In recent years, David has discovered a passion for military recruitment in the corporate sector. Through his experience, he has a deep understanding of what is important to the veteran and how to help them transition and grow a successful career at Builders FirstSource.
Michael Revis
Operations Manager, Builders FirstSource,

Michael served his country as an Army Ammunition and Aviation Specialist stationed in Fort Drum, NY before joining Builders FirstSource in 2018. Starting as a designer - a popular role for veterans transitioning to the building materials industry – he worked his way up to Operations Manager in five short years. Michael also leads the popular Proud to Serve North Florida Chapter, which promotes veteran engagement within the company and community.
Joel Gossett
Area Business Manager, Builders FirstSource
Charlotte, North Carolina
Marine Veteran Joel Gossett began his career at Builders FirstSource in 1999 as an EWP Designer. He later moved into sales, quickly advancing to Sales Manager, before branching out to other top leadership roles within the organization. Joel leads MIT, SIT and DOD SkillBridge Training for the Charlotte market. Certified as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, he also serves on the company’s Productivity Leadership Counsel.
