Croft Lumber of Sayre, Pa., recently celebrated a grand reopening event.

The company, which has been in business for over 80 years, offers kitchen and bath appliances, lumber, building materials, flooring, windows, roofing, siding and hardware. As owner and president Warren Croft told LMC: "Almost anything you need to start a home from the foundation to the finished product."

Croft's store now features an expanded showroom for kitchen and bath items. The remodeling process has taken a while to complete; LMC says plans for the renovation and expansion were initially developed 10 years ago. As Warren Croft explained, "it takes a long time to transition a property that is around 87 years old." The expansion added 10,000 square feet to the showrooms and mill.

The business was founded in 1937 by Warren's great-great uncle. Warren is the fourth generation to own and operate the store, with his son Tyler now working alongside him.
