US LBM opens new Delaware branch
Fresh off a pair of acquisitions, US LBM announced that it has opened a new roofing and siding location in Millsboro, Del. under its Universal Supply banner.
The location is US LBM's second to open in Delaware this year and the company's 12th roofing and siding-focused greenfield to open since 2018.
In January, US LBM opened a similar roofing and siding-focused location in New Castle, Del.
The new location will operate as part of US LBM's Universal Supply division, which has locations across Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
"Universal Supply is a trusted and leading name in the Mid-Atlantic for roofing, siding and specialty building materials," said US LBM Chief Development Officer Jeff Umosella. "This new location complements US LBM's existing network in Delaware and Maryland and allows us to better serve both existing and new customers in southern Delaware and the northern communities along Maryland's Eastern Shore."
The new branch is located just off U.S. Route 113 and will serve professional builders, contractors, and remodelers.
US LBM operates more than 400 locations nationwide.
Yesterday, the company reported that it had acquired Arrowhead Stairs & Trim serving the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas market. Just days earlier, US LBM also reported that it had expanded in the Mid-Atlantic region with the acquisition of BuilderUp, a regional building products distributor and manufacturer serving customers throughout Maryland, Northern Virginia, and Washington, D.C. area.
