True Value hits Denver
DENVER, COLO.—Independent hardware retailers have chance to touch and feel new products and have face-to-face interaction peers and vendors, during the True Value 2022 Fall Reunion.
The event kicks off Friday morning here with a General Session, in which the Chicago-based distributor's leadership team will provide updates product assortments ad business strategy. But True Value nation already began to meet and greet in Denver Thursday.
An outdoor Rental Demo Day across the street from the Colorado Convention Center showcased products as diverse as popcorn machines and heavy duty diggers.
One of the highlights on the agenda is the Friday night reception with a performance from Darius Rucker, the musical frontman from Hootie & the Blowfish.
Also, True Value's "New Product Arena" will feature 25 new vendors made up of mostly inventors/startups showing & doing demos on their products.
Most of these products will be unveiled and available for sale for the first time in brick & mortar.
"We’re proud to show our support for both our independent retailers as well as entrepreneurs launching new items and businesses," True Value said in a statement.
Brands in the mix include GE Lighting, which will be featured in a Cync-Smart Home Display. The equipped display house will allow customers to walk thru and see how True Value exclusive Cync products work and work together.
A Grill 'N Chill on Saturday afternoon will feature Coleman Powersports offering test drives of their ATV’s and Go Karts and show their full line of powersports products.
The show floor will open at 8:15 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 16, after the General Session, and closes at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18, with the virtual platform available from Sept. 12 – Oct. 9.
