Weyerhaeuser will now stock the complete range of Trex decking and railing products at strategically located distribution hubs, including locations in Redding, Stockton, Fresno, Santa Clarita and Fontana, California, as well as in Phoenix, Arizona. As part of this relationship, Weyerhaeuser will exclusively offer Trex decking and railing solutions in these regions.

According to Trex, this collaboration aligns with the company's strategic focus on expanding its market share in the residential railing segment

“With the launch of our new railing lineup, this collaboration enables us to deliver an unparalleled combination of quality and innovation to even more customers,” said Bret Martz, Group Vice President of North American Professional Sales for Trex Company. “By leveraging Weyerhaeuser’s extensive distribution network, we’re poised to meet the growing demand for premium, sustainable, low-maintenance outdoor living products in key markets across the Southwest.”

Driving growth in an expanding market

Trex aims to double its share of the $3.3 billion residential railing market over the next five years, increasing its presence from 6 percent to 12 percent, per the company.

Ross Theilen, vice president of distribution at Weyerhaeuser, stated, “Trex is a leader in the industry, and their products align with our commitment to providing innovative, sustainable building materials. We’re thrilled to bring Trex’s premium offerings to our customers in California, Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico.”
